History
REP is an old clan. Playing already for a very long time. The clan was founded by Devastator in 2001 in Mechwars as EP (Eternal Power)
As soon as the game crashed I transfered the clan with some members to Nukezone where we played for two seasons in the top of the clanpoints list. Eventually we stopped but on 19 January 2004 we returned with a few members again and so also with Devilman! The two of them did run the clan for a while but then Devastator's private life convinced him to stop and focus on the real things in his daily life. So Devilman continued and improved and enlarged the Clan's Organisation in many ways! Since the old clan was deleted we re-founded it on Devils birthday. The members of that round mostly weren't the old members anymore, but still we felt the power of an old clan.
Nukezone We had some trouble getting started but eventually we got the members we wanted. A great team, that had fun and was active. We got 38th in our 2nd round what was pretty good. In round 12 we made a big step. We merged with another clan, making us even better. We got 20, active members who got 52nd and 22nd. In round 13 it went wrong. We were still acting like 2 separate clans. We couldn't just kick who we wanted because half the clan would leave than. After having a great discussion at the end of round 13 about 5-6 members left including the re-founder Devil. They made WAB in that round and played there for fun also during round 14.
In round 14 Devil got a message. The members that were in REP wanted something different and were leaving, stopping or started playing inactive. They wanted either to delete REP, either we had to take over REP again. Devil didn't doubt for a moment and came back to REP in the begin of round 15. It was a mess and we played with 10 members for a very long time. Still we got 41nd. Since it was a mess we decided to take a relax round for once and reorganize things a bit. We did this in round 16 and partly in round 17.
In round 18 we made the step to NW. Devil made Tony the leader since he had more experience with NW, Redstorm got his 2nd man. This because people wanted something different and we never played NW before. We only played with 13 members and got 9th in that round. All members stayed and we decided to go for NW with 20 members in the following round. We did that and after that we got 6th in round 19, even when 3 players left the clan and we had to replace them.
In round 20 we relaxed, we just did nothing but just having fun. Back in round 21 we are playing for fun and we are going for points. Not highly active but we are still there.
Defcon5 This was only our nukezone history. Since we started playing REP grew to a clan that was playing like friends. We don't know each other in real life, but we were playing like this. On 11 October 2005 this resulted in the creation of the REP clan in defcon5. Since than we are also playing defcon5, not highly active but for fun and getting as much points as possible. First Tony was the 2nd man and Devil the Leader but now things changed. Tony is a member now and a player called Badboy took the 2nd spot. Since Devil has more games to lead, Badboy did a great job in declaring wars and other stuff.
Other Games This wasn't the end of the REP story yet. In the begin of 2006 we started the world of warcraft guild/clan. We played in this for 1-2 months when it fell because the leaders didn't had enough time to lead the whole guild anymore. REP still is there, but highly inactive. Halfway 2006 we started to play battlefield2 but this failed because people were playing other games more. It was hard to plan battlefield evenings than. Still we play together, sometimes world of warcraft and sometimes battlefield. Maybe once we will arrange battlefield evenings again, we don't know...
Lan-Party People felt REP-member, even when they weren't a real member. We arranged stuff on the REP forums, discussed things through REP teamspeak and much more. This how it came we arranged LAN-Party nearby Doetinchem, eastern Holland. Just a group of friends, but they felt REP-members and still do. This is how it comes we can almost say it's a REP LAN-Party since ones a member, always a member!
